NickButera
Reported we gave up a 3rd (the same third we got from Arizona for pick #15) Makes trading down in the first for an OT a bit easier to swallow knowing we got an extra 5th and Bryant. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/23330065/pittsburgh-steelers-trade-wr-martavis-bryant-oakland-raiders-3rd-round-pick

Nodisrespect
We traded for the right to pay this guy in free agency he has one year left on his deal and is a 2 time drug violator. Questionable at best he's talented but wtf is going on?
Humble_Beast
WTH this clown was worth a 5th round pick
Frankie2Gunz
Bryant is a pro bowl talent and has been exactly what this O has been lacking. He helps out Carr and Cooper tremendously. Cooper will finally be used properly and will have his best year yet. Bravo to Gruden landing a 26 year old WR with elite potential.
RaidersAreOne
No one is arguing him as a player. That is worth a 3rd by itself. What we are saying is he is not worth that high of a draft pick, given his immense drug history (one suspension away from a Josh Gordon situation), his lack of work ethic, and the fact he is up for a contract right away. Again I would do this for a 5th, but a 3rd in this deep draft!? Hellllll no. Very disappointing.

raiders4life
We all had reservations on Seth Roberts as the slot receiver, so we should be happy they went and addressed it with a proven NFL talent right? As always, everyone is over valuing draft picks compared to established NFL players. Hopefully they had a contract conversation with em already and hopefully he keeps his head on straight. Hard for me to hate on this gamble because the potential of this offense just went up quite a bit higher.

Let's revisit this when you see the talent on the board in the 3rd.

I agree but look at the 3rd round players from the last 3 years. How many would someone take over Bryant, I will venture to say not many?
Geezy
Pick a project in round 1, then spend a 3 on WR that is up at the end of the year. Man, we are all over the place. Are we rebuilding or are we in win now mode? Bryant can play, but he is a joint away from Josh Gordon and he will be a pain to re-sign. Bright side, if he balls out he makes our offense much more explosive, and if we cant re-sign him we will receive a comp.
SilverNBlackFan
Compensation and Character concerns aside, if we are focusing on just the player -I believe Bryant is a top 20 WR in the NFL in terms of pure talent. He is a stud and could provide this offense with another dimension.
Geezy
Cooper, Nelson and Bryant is exciting, can't lie. If MB balls we can give him Jordys money on '19.
MrOaktown_56
We needed a move like this. Bryant can play outside and is a very good vertical threat and a RAC receiver. There isn't a single receiver in the draft for which we can say all of those things. Fits what we needed in a receiver to a tee.
RaisinBran
Carr will have plenty of weapons now. Hopefully our OL is solid with Miller.
