The Steelers were committed to making a 1st round pick no matter what, because they had Shazier there to announce it. So, maybe Edmunds wasn't the guy they intended to pick in the first, but he was the fallback after LEV/Evans were gone? If that is even partially true, the NFL owes them a solid. That was from the Steelers forum. Interesting take. I'd be pretty mad as a fan if my team felt forced to draft a player just because of who was on-hand to announce the pick. Highly doubt Hubbard or Landry will fall to us but the way the draft has gone so far its possible. I'm hoping the night ends with him as a Titan. Telling you, if that knee is ok(and he's in the right situation, which we fit imo), I really think he's Danielle Hunter 2.0.
