Northland Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 I love Witten. One of my all time favourites and tough as nails. Team guy and no nonsense off the field. If he wants to walk away I wish him well. He doesn't owe the game or anyone anything. TE was a need for this draft. I mean you have a still productive albeit 15 year vet as your starter. His replacement should be on the roster already. Hindsight is 20/20. My big concern is the loss of production with Dez and Witten gone. 132 receptions 1398 yards and 11 tds. That's significant. I would have put DL 1a and 1b with TE had Witten stayed. But his replacement takes a bit more priority now. At the very least we have seen promise from Collins in the 3tech.
