I'm a bit confused because I thought in order to be placed on PUP one would have to fail the physical coming into training camp. With that said this opens up a roster spot for one of the competitors on the DL. I had Langford down as the starting DE with Hankins at NT and Anderson at DT but with Langford originally out Woods took over at NT and they shuffled Hankins and Anderson. Without knowing what the financial implications are for the failed physical. If this were a simple release then the dead money from his contract would be $250K for both 2017 and 2018 which means saving $4M cap this year and $4.25M cap next year. Anderson-Woods-Hankins Hunt-Stewart-Ridgeway McGill and Parry fighting off Josh Boyd and Jhaustin Thomas for whatever extra spots remain. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
