D-rell
The formula used to determined wins is based on "real" Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt (rANY/A) and a Player Volume Factor (VF). (rANY/A) weights in yards: TD = 20 yards 1stD = 8 yards Fum = -35 yards Int = -45 yards *note: QB's receive 60% of credit/blame for all passing plays VF 1.00 = every 38 drop-backs Win Conversions based on Pythagorean expectation and some of the following info: avg. QB adjusted YPG = 205 avg. rANY/A = 4.79 etc. *playoff stats included *All decade measurement duration Sept. 9th, 2010 - Oct. 16th, 2017 *min of 500 Pass Attempts *Final Rankings determined by combination of player's rank in wins shares column (volume) and Wins Per column (efficiency) Top QB's this decade Rk Name 1 Aaron Rodgers 2 Tom Brady 3 Drew Brees 4 Cam Newton 5 Matt Ryan 6 Peyton Manning 7 Russell Wilson 8 Ben Roethlisberger 9 Philip Rivers 10 Matthew Stafford 11 Andrew Luck 12 Alex Smith 13 Tony Romo 14 Eli Manning 15 Carson Palmer 16 Colin Kaepernick 17 Michael Vick 18 Kirk Cousins 19 Andy Dalton 20 Robert Griffin 21 Joe Flacco 22 Dak Prescott 23 Josh Freeman 24 Ryan Fitzpatrick 25 Jameis Winston 26 Matt Schaub 27 Ryan Tannehill 28 Jay Cutler 29 Tyrod Taylor 30 Marcus Mariota 31 Kyle Orton 32 Blake Bortles 33 Nick Foles 34 Derek Carr 35 Sam Bradford 36 Teddy Bridgewater 37 Brian Hoyer 38 Geno Smith 39 Josh McCown 40 Matt Hasselbeck 41 Donovan McNabb 42 Jake Locker 43 Mark Sanchez 44 Matt Cassel 45 Chad Henne 46 Case Keenum 47 Jason Campbell 48 Carson Wentz 49 Brandon Weeden 50 Christian Ponder 51 Kevin Kolb 52 Trevor Siemian 53 Colt McCoy 54 Shaun Hill 55 Rex Grossman 56 EJ Manuel 57 Mike Glennon 58 Blaine Gabbert 59 Matt Moore 60 Brock Osweiler 61 John Skelton 62 Jared Goff 63 Tarvaris Jackson 64 Seneca Wallace 65 Derek Anderson My exel file containing decade totals for each player listed: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQ5sqR5qGelms0O3k9j3kSrglcL4etpFcZIlCtF3fufhBRnjGJ6iR6RJTLTIoEoHcOOp7qqiXMF-Z04/pubhtml
