CrazyJoeDavola
Got bored at work so I made a quick mock. I am not going to go through the whole offseason. This is draft only with players I like (also going full homer in some selections). I used NFL Mock Draft Database for the simulation. Let me know how poorly I did. (Scouting information courtesy of Bing AI) 1 (25) Jer'Zhan Newton, DL, Illinois - Jer’Zhan Newton’s explosive athleticism, versatility, and consistent performance make him an exciting prospect for the 2024 NFL Draft. Keep an eye out for this talented defensive tackle! 2 (41) Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M - Draft Projection: Cooper is projected to be a 2nd to mid-round pick. His overall rating is an impressive 86.5 out of 100. His achievements include earning AP All-American and First Team All-SEC honors in 2023. Keep an eye on this rising star as he enters the NFL draft! 2 (58) Javon Bullard, S, Georgia - Playing Style: Bullard is an athletic safety who excels in both run defense and pass coverage. His pass coverage skills stand out, thanks to his fluid athleticism, quick feet, and excellent balance in his pedal technique. His excellent length, thick build, and above-average athleticism make him a second-day pick with significant upside. 3 (91) Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame - Strengths: Long and physical, Hart’s profile suits press coverage. His ability to carry opponents on crossers and stay hip-to-hip on go-balls is impressive. Areas of Concern: Teams may worry about his transitions and pure man coverage due to a lack of recovery speed and relative stiffness. 4 (127) Ray Davis, RB, Kentucky - Ray Davis shows promise as a versatile running back with the potential to contribute at the professional level. His combination of skills makes him an intriguing prospect for NFL teams. ( Also, this is apparently his actual full name Re'Mahn Walter Zhamar Jamar Davis) 5 (168) Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas - His versatility, productivity, and understanding of positioning make him an intriguing prospect. Keep an eye out for Ben Sinnott during the upcoming NFL Draft! 6 (204) Mason McCormick, IOL, South Dakota State - Mason McCormick is a four-year starter within South Dakota State’s run-heavy offensive scheme. The team employs a mix of A-gap power, G-lead, and zone runs. McCormick possesses a solid build, particularly through his chest and core. His arm length is good, but his overall athletic ability is marginal 6 (216) JD Bertrand. LB, Notre Dame - JD Bertrand’s athleticism and performance have caught the attention of scouts, and he’s poised to make an impact in the NFL draft. Keep an eye on this promising linebacker 7 (243) Jalen Sundell, IOL, North Dakota State - Sundell demonstrates a good feel for combo blocks and displays quickness and flexibility when moving to the second level. He is capable of sealing the backside on reach blocks. His positional run-blocking skills showcase the nasty demeanor and killer instinct that scouts covet. Additionally, he possesses above-average football smarts and general intelligence 7 (251) Myles Harden, CB, South Dakota - Harden possesses an average cornerback build. His muscular frame and well-developed lower half contribute to his physical prowess. Notably, his lateral quickness and short-area burst are commendable, allowing him to excel in shallow zone coverages despite having average linear speed1. As he prepares for the NFL Draft, his abilities and potential are closely scrutinized by scouts and fans alike.
