3rivers
https://steelersnow.com/steelers-tj-watt-targets-hack-a-shaq-strategy-nfl/ The refs are awful , we know this . I used to think Harrison got held a lot, but then I just read this: Since 2021, Watt has rushed the passer 1183 times but has only drawn two holding penalties, according to Sports Info Solutions. That’s nearly three full seasons.
zflairway
He diverts the rush and uses athleticism to beat his man. He's more finesse than power and doesn't really engage and outmuscle the other man, because he's more athletic than he is a bull. Watt is at his best when he hits the edge and uses his long arms to create separation and proceed as scheduled. Harrison ran through the man and finessed him by triangulating into the ground and being so strong unwavered during his approach and was choked (by being so short) as he kept moving toward the qb. Therefore, he was held [nearly] every play.
