Region2Rex Posted January 18, 2022 Share Posted January 18, 2022 So got a rules question about what happens if a defensive lineman knocks over an offensive lineman and strip sacked the quarterback and same offensive lineman recovers the fumble ...does the play end ? Had this happen in madden 22 and the left tackle recovered ball standing with room to run. Referee blew whistle ending play... OkeyDoke21 Posted January 18, 2022 Share Posted January 18, 2022 It depends on the situation. If the ball was fumbled forward, a lineman can't advance it. If it is on 4th down, or in the final two minutes of the half/game, only the player who fumbled the ball (qb here) can advance it on recovery.
