Malfatron
Matchup 1 Jacksonville 3-14 at Kansas City 12-5 Final score: jacksonville shocks KC in the first round 34-24 Trevor Lawrence proves that hes a better qb as he outduels Mahomes Trevor Lawrence 20/ 23 190 2 td 0int Mahomes 14/21 116 yars 2 td 0int But the real hero was James Robinson who was most certainly not benched and ran for 128 yards and a td. Tyreek lost a step as his longest catch went for 13 yards. Just an embarrasing loss for kc who took jacksonville for granted.
Malfatron
Matchup 2: Indianapolis 9-8 at LA Chargers 9-8 Score: Colts win 17-6 The stupid tie-eschewing coach for the chargers laughed in the face of analytics when he went for a 30 yard fg with 12:23 left in the game down 14-3. Colts only needed Wentz to throw 19 passes as J. TAYLOR went for 136 yards and 2 tds. One thing is clear for this tournament so far. A strong Running game is key to victory. Questions loom on the horizon as the chargers are once again sent home early. Will Herbert ever win a big game?
Malfatron
Matchup 3: Atlanta 7-10 at Buffalo 11-6 This game proves to answer the question: was glem right to get josh allen (and 2 firsts) in return for matt ryan? The answer is a resounding YES! Final score: Bills defeat the Falcons 27-13 Buffalo started the scoring off with an 89 yard PR TD and never looked back. Devin Singletary had a rush td and a td reception. Ryan threw 2 picks, both to Micah hyde. And the bills sacked Ryan 6 times The game was never close, with the Bills leading 24-3 at half. The Bills are the first better seed to win thus far, and they are definitely a tourney favorite to win it all!
Malfatron
Matchup 4 Denver 7-10 at Dallas 12-5 Wow, what a meltdown from the Cowboys! Denver wins 41-38 Just look at this fourth Q play by play. https://www.whatifsports.com/nfl/pbp.asp?gameid=29029267&qtr=4&teamfee=-1 Dallas was leading 38-24 with 12:38 left in the game after a long td run. On the ensuing denver drive, dallas allows a 70 yard Boone run on a draw play, leading to an easy td. But whoops, denver missed the xp. 38-30 dallas now. On dallas's drive, they move the ball okay, but Genius Mac decides to punt on 4th and 1 from the Denver 37 yard line. Denver gets the ball with 8 minutes left at their 11. They take it down the field in about 6 and a half minutes, converting three 4th downs along the way, and score on a bridgewater td pass. And then mg3 gets in for the ensuing 2! Game tied Dallas gets in yet another 3 and out. They punt and denver takes over at their own 36 with 24 seconds left. First play is an 8 yard gain. Now 15 seconds from their own 44. Do they run a draw play? Nope! They pass and bridgewater hits Okwuegbunam for a 31 yard gain. Mcmanus hits a 42 yarder at the buzzer to win!
Malfatron
NY Jets 4-13 at Cincinnati 10-7 Two excellent young qbs in Joe Burrow and Zach Wilson. Thats what people are saying to hype this game anyway Final score: cincy wins 30-20 Oddly enough, Wilson was benched at times for Mike White Zach Wilson 15/27 225 yards 2 td Mike White 3/7 32 yards
Malfatron
Matchup 6: Cleveland 8-9 at Pittsburgh 9-7-1 Could this be Bens last game? Myles Garrett has yet another chance to make it so This time, he succeeds! Final score: browns win 27-13 Ben was openly sobbing on the field on every pass, where he threw it way more than he should have Finished with a statline 18/38 198 yards 1 td 1 int
Malfatron
NY Giants 4-13 at Green Bay 13-4 Rodgers said that this was the game that mattered. He had a chip on his shoulder from the 15-1 hail mary debacle that he had to set right. Final score: Giants win 27-24 Rodgers throws 3 tds, takes 0 chances, and takes the lead in the 4th quarter on a short 24 yard fg by mason. Packers winning 24-20 now with 2:29 to go. They could have went for the td in the red zone, but Rodgers has a stellar red zone int percentage. Cant risk that. And of course, like every packers fan knows, the giants go right down the field. Good news though! The packers stop the giants on 4th down on an imcomplete pass on 4th and 8. However, the defense got an unneccesary roughness call, giving nyg new life and every packers fan again knew what would happen. Sure enough freaking daniel jones throws a td pass to toney with 30 seconds left to take a 27-24 lead But isnt 30 seconds enough for rodgers? Nope! He gets down there a little bit, and crosby misses a 58 yard fg to lose. We just need to shore up special teams and we will win the next tourney!
Malfatron
Last match of the day Matchup 8: Minnesota 8-9 at New England 10-7 Damn, that coaching mismatch here However....this was a noon game. Final score: minnesota wins 37-27 Kirk "High Noon" Cousins tore NEs defense up, throwing for 247 yards and 4 tds, in a game that nobody watched so hes not going to get any credit for it The game was over in the 4th as cousins took a knee with 21 seconds left leading 34-27. But its fun to run up the score on the patriots so zimmer rushed his kicking team on the field, even risking a blocked kick just to drill it though with no time left to give the vikings a 37-27 win

Malfatron
Matchup 9 Detroit 3-13-1 at LA Rams 12-5 Uh oh! Its Goff vs Stafford part 2! This time in a meaningful game. Time for each of these qbs to prove themselves Turns out to be a very close game as campbel always has them fighting Final score: rams win 24-20 Cooper Kupp was the game MVP with 8 rec for 106 yards, and 2 TDs including the 7 yard gamewinning catch with 1:20 to go in the game. Goof almost brought the team down the field to win, but this happened on 4th and goal from the 8. *Goff's pass is to Hockenson and dropped. We found out today that Hockenson is no Kupp. Jury is still out on Goff vs Stafford. Goff was spraying it all over the field, half of them to the ground. Stafford only threw 5 incompletions all game, but also threw 2 picks
Malfatron
Match 10: Miami 9-8 at New Orleans 9-8 Tua vs Simian. Damn, i was hoping winston would be back. Im ready for the saints onslaught. Sean Payton is on the sidelines with his airport carryon luggage. Planning on going somewhere, Sean?! Final score: Dolphins win 25-13 Dolphins outgained the Saints 417-176, and sacked the QB 6 times (Jaelan Phillips had 3 sacks himself) Tua looked elite against a supposedly great D 22/28 for 311 yards, 2 td and 1 int Thats pretty damn elite for him
Malfatron
Match 11: Chicago 6-11 at Tennessee 12-5 This one started off pretty close but the titans took control 2nd half Bears jumped out to a 14 point lead after a 14 yard td rec and 23 yard run by Khalil Herbert. After a seesaw 2nd Q, it was 23-21 Titans, and they never put their foot off the gas from then on Final score: titans win 44-21 Some guy named derrick henry had 209 yards from scrimmage
Malfatron
We got a hot divisional matchup here Seattle 7-10 at Arizona 11-6 I predict a close game with some crazy bs at the end, lets see what happens Final score: seattle wins 34-15 Nope! Just an unwatchable game! Seattle dominated the whole game, and arizona only scored in garbage time Literally nothing notable happened this game, so lets just move on, shall we
