If Adrian Peterson was drafted in 2000, how would he have been viewed?

I still say, as a pure RB, he was as talented as anybody who ever played the game when he was healthy, Unlike Faulk, he never played with a great QB in a sensational offensive machine.

The only thing that stopped him from being mentioned with the greats was his nagging injuries which limited his playing time and often silenced him in quite a few seasons.

If he could have stayed healthy on a consistent basis, he would be stat wise, right up there with the past greats. He actually reminds me of Jimmy Brown and I saw every game Brown ever played as a pro and am still a Cleveland fan!!! So I do not throw around that kind of praise too often.
