Wyld Stallyns Posted April 21, 2018 Share Posted April 21, 2018 Chris Ballard held his pre draft presser Friday and while discussing the draft he also answered questions about where some players fit in the new 4-3 Defense. John Simon - he will play DE, with his hand on the ground (same with Sheard and Basham) Najee Goode - he’s an inside guy, also said he considers Mike and Will LBs as inside roles. (Yeah, basically he won’t be the Sam LB) Antonio Morrison, Anthony Walker, Jeremiah George, Darnell Sankey and Jermaine Grace ( he said they are all good fits and good depth for the linebacker group) Henry Anderson - he wasn’t asked about him but Henry Anderson did say a week or so ago that he lost 15 lbs. to play DE. DEs - Jabaal Sheard, John Simon, Denico Autry, Henry Anderson, Terrell Basham, Josh Parry, Jonathan Calvin DTs - Al Woods, Hassan Ridgeway, Caraun Reid, Grover Stewart, Anthony Johnson Margus Hunt could fit in both spots though he played DE in Cincy’s 4-3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
