  1. Thought it was pretty obvious, you wanted to continue the fantasy by getting Waddle, burning a 1st on a WR, and resign Lazard, great, but my point is, I would rather put the resources into defense as I am not convinced Love is the answer (gives me the Huntley vibe), I know embarrassing take? I agree that Lefleur's offense in it's purest form is not QB centric, but that is not the offense that Rodgers was running. The connection between a AR/DA trade is draft capital or trade for defensive players, is that such a difficult connection?
  2. But do we have the QB to get them the ball? I'm all for getting what we can for Rodgers, but I want to build a nasty defense and run game. I'm tired of relying on QB centered offense where if he is off, you lose. Rodgers has been great, but I am ready to move on and play a different style of football. Defense looked awesome in divisional game, lets sell off Rodgers and Adams keep Campbell, Douglas, and Smith brothers, would love to see this defense healthy and together for a full season.
  3. Gap integrity, rally to the football, controlled aggression. I want to see how they ref Warner, he likes to make the tackle and keep talking sheet, pushing, pulling, way after the whistle. If they let this go, it is going to be slug-fest and I hope our boys retaliate.
  4. If we can just contain the edge and and gang tackle I will be happy. Savage needs to turn it around in a hurry if we have SB aspirations.
  5. Life going to be very different without Aaron, hopefully one more SB this year and then eternal optimism
  6. Hi All, I bought my silly piece of paper this week and started to reflect on how and why I became a diehard Packer fan. I know we all come to this site to express our emotions (yes, this is all emotion) related to how our team is playing and what we think is the problem (yes, we all think we can solve the "problem"). I would like to hear from everyone on how you became a Packer fan and why you care so much about this team. Let's try and keep our histories short and gain a better perspective of our fellow posters. I know some of the prolific posters have probably shared their histories, but maybe this thread can provide a home-base for those who are curious. Born in Northern Illinois (1965 ) and moved to a border town (on the right side)at age 4. Too many Bear fans in the family to mention and needless to say was not part of the 60's Packer History to identify with winning. My dad was a Packer fan until they traded Ted Hendricks, then Bears fan and hated Packers management. He would take me to Lake Forest to watch Bears training camp. Grew up football wise in the 70', 80's, and 90's. Never thought I would see a Superbowl or even a winning team until Harlan, Wolf, Holmgren, Favre, and Reggie came along. Needless to say, struggled with the Favre debacle, but this singular event solidified my love for team and not player. Don't get me wrong I have my favorites, but Green and Gold forever. It has been hard to build trust after going through my formative years in the Judge (Parins?) era, but we have had solid organizational leadership for quite awhile. We are currently in good hands and I may criticize, but will always support the Green and Gold.
  7. 0-1 as an NFL owner, we go 0-2 and heads or going to roll, just sayin
