Quessenberry was higher on my board because of his versatility and length to play G, but Allen's a bulldog, who fits really well for a power scheme. LAR incorporated a lot more power last year than just a pure ZBS. Quessenberry is a far better fit on a team that does exclusive ZBS, and LAR clearly still uses ZBS too, so I see the argument - terrible's a bridge too far, IMO. I do think Big10 guys overperform on their rankings, FWIW. 3-year starter and 2nd team all-conference tells me this is likely one of those cases. FWIW, Allen's hands aren't quite that small at 9 1/4. At 6'1, 298, 32' arms, he's the classic C-only guy with his fire hydrant build, and his play bears that out a power fit. Quessenberry has the length and quickness for G or C, and that's really valuable - but his power is very limited. So I see why LAR went in a different direction, TBH. Do love the value with Quessenberry, though, no argument there.
