He really has to sell this move to Brissett and Chad Kelly because he’s been upfront about not forcing the QB position and lo and behold he drafts Eason.
 • claims they had a 4th round grade on Eason So once they got to the 4th round it was a no brainer 

• told the media “y’all are so worried about WRs where I’m all about the trenches” and drafts a WR with the first pick. He needs to make them understand that he wasn’t lying about both things (both things can be true at once) 

• he has to also make it clear that he isn’t just going to roll over and trade Brissett right now because he’s been talking up Brissett and wants to keep him motivated in case they need him down the line. Same thing they were doing with him when Luck was still here and it worked out for them. To a degree.
