My take on Saul was that he's a great ball-winner and has played a more defensive role a fair amount, but is also a swiss army knife tactically and brings more to the game on the ball than your typical destroyer, which is what I'd want in a tournament of super teams. I think he and Keita alone makes it a really stout midfield defensively but Kroos also chips in alot and is capable of dropping into a regista role as well
