Wyld Stallyns
If the Colts don’t negotiate a long term deal first, they will easily apply this option.
TheOnePiece
The Colts have been quiet so far this free agency period.

I'm not surprised. They have 2-3 big contracts to extend(Nelson and Leonard certainly, Smith probably). Also, I think they know that after the initial rush, you're going to have a lot of free agents and not many teams with available money. Better to wait to the Monday after the draft, pick up some players on deal contracts, and on the plus side none of those signings impact the compensatory pick formula

I'm excited to see who we go after either way.
Wyld Stallyns
Also take into consideration, when we signed Justin Houston, after he was cut by the Chiefs, it was a week into free agency. Rhodes was signed days later. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few value signings after players realize the money isn’t there for them
