turtle28
“Washington’s Week 3 matchup with the Bills didn't turn out to be the best day for the away side's defense, but at least one member of that unit drew some praise from a Buffalo offensive lineman. "I feel like Jon Allen doesn't get the credit he deserves," Bills left guard Jon Feliciano said after the game. "I think he's the best guy on their front. The dude's a werewolf." Allen is the longest-tenured member of Washington's front four, joining the franchise as a first-round pick in 2017. The 26-year-old has been a consistent presence on the interior defensive line, but as Feliciano alluded to, he doesn't get as much attention as the pair of young, talented edge rushers Washington has in Chase Young and Montez Sweat. Even so, Allen has been Washington's most productive defensive lineman during the early part of the season. He leads the team with three sacks, four tackles for loss and seven quarterback hits. Meanwhile, Sweat is the only other defensive lineman to record a sack through three games.”
