Wyld Stallyns
Everything is dependent on whether Ballard returns next year. He is a major advocate for running a 4-3 defense on an indoor turf (no dome team has ever won the SB playing a 3-4 defense) and Irsay is every bit eager to relive the glory days of the Tampa 2 defense. What style defense will we even run? Tampa 2, traditional Cover 2, Cover 3, Quarters? Or move to a 3-4 or hybrid defense? We got lucky to get Gus Bradley this year but I don’t know how easy it is to get the better coaching prospects to consider Indy because of our QB situation, the Saturday situation (ie the perceived slight of his hiring) and that the organization is considered unstable. Whether we stick with Raimann at LT or move him to RG and draft another LT prospect. Do we stick with Ryan for one more year and draft a developmental QB or trade up and try to get a Day 1 starter. So many questions about 2023 and we haven’t even finished this season yet
pf9
If the NFL decides in 2023 to make all 16 positional interconference games neutral site games (whether the site is domestic or international), I'd like to see the Colts host their NFC West opponent at Notre Dame Stadium, which if the game is on CBS, would be the first time the network broadcast a football game from there since the 1990 Miami (Florida)-Notre Dame game, which was the last time CBS aired a Notre Dame home game (they would all air on NBC starting in 1991).
