sparky151 Posted June 19, 2023 Share Posted June 19, 2023 Sad news. The Athletic had 2 good beat writes for the Bengals. They are keeping Paul Dehner but laying off Jay Morrison. Here in Columbus, they of course have a beat writer for OSU football. But they no longer have one for the Crew of MLS. Their NFL and MLS national coverage is pretty good but I might switch to their cheap trial subscriptions not because I can't afford the full rate but because I don't like them dropping 2 of our local beats.
