elevators_rule
A few years ago, I was of the belief we were in a QB renaissance. Players like Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Hurts, etc. Made me think we were fringing on the next tier of QBs that could pass and run at an elite level. Now I'm reading an NFL.com article. Their top 3 QBs listed are 1. Tua, Mahomes, and Stafford. Is this the worst it's looked in a while? Also, even though he's been off to bad start, Burrow is ranked 15th in this picture. Mayfield, Geno Smith, Cousins, Jackson, and C.J. Stroud are all ranked ahead of him. Insane IMO. Danger
Your first mistake was reading an article at NFL.com LOL
Soko
In all fairness, this is a power ranking kind of thing. They’re going to go based on who’s winning and who’s putting up stats. By those metrics, a guy like Stroud is absolutely “outplaying” Burrow. Burrow’s better, you just need to know what kind of ranking you’re looking at. The list is still bad but not as bad if you know you aren’t looking at a pure QB ranking.
