Xmad Posted May 5 Share Posted May 5 It's a good year to be a star wars fan. Bad batch finale, new tales of the empire, Hopefully decent acolyte series. New star wars video game (granted ubisoft but the story seems cool) We just need a parody yoda movie or a robot chicken sketch to fill it out. The backlash Ubisoft is currently getting for not selling the full game at launch- and from what I’ve read it basically costs at least $30 more to get the full game due to DLC- is approaching Battlefront II microtransactions backlash that EA dealt with, causing them to rework the entire multiplayer at launch. Games have done this for years, but not to that price level. According to their price chart you can dip into their subscription for a month and get that content for like $18.00? That's my plan lol. If it sucks welp cancelling after one month. So they are also counting on you purchasing their subscription, and then forgetting about it………despite the fact that there are now multiple apps out there that scour your accounts to find those.
