coordinator0 Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Eh. Quarterback contracts are messed up. If a decent one is hitting the market, he's getting stupid money with stupid cap hits. Flacco is a decent quarterback. Unless you strike gold with the quarterback early in his career (Seahawks and Wilson) you pretty much have to plan your cap around what the Ravens are dealing with for Flacco. And half the league is dealing with the same thing. Stafford at the top is averaging $27 million per year, while Tannehill at 16th is averaging $19.25 million per year.
