So random funny things about landing Fautanu: The FO thought he was going top 10, 8 at the highest and 10 at the lowest, maybe 13. So they were fully prepared to trade up for him. Meanwhile our smoke screen worked because the Bengals thought we had Mims rated higher than Fautanu due to all the visits. Additionally - The Bengals apparently went after Trent Brown and Amarius Mims because they saw the success Dawand Jones had on Watt and prioritized size at RT. Which is just hilarious to me because it wasn't like he completely stopped him. So the Bengals, once again, potentially made a pick because they were trying to outthink us.

I feel like they definitely did. I said it a few weeks ago, but Lynch is new to having to go through the process of paying so many people and a QB all at the same time. I feel like he’s about to lose some guys without any return. Their RT isn’t that good, their secondary is thin and weak even with the addition of Green, and they have 2 of those ‘good’ secondary members up for a new contract next year along with every RB but CMC, their starting LG, one of their top LBs (Greenlaw), and every WR outside Deebo and Pearsall that they play regularly.
