LinderFournette
7: R1P7 QB DWAYNE HASKINS OHIO STATE<--starting QB 38: R2P6 TE TJ HOCKENSON IOWA<--starting TE 69: R3P5 C ELGTON JENKINS MISSISSIPPI STATE<--starting G/T 95: R3P31 WR ANDY ISABELLA UMASS<--potential starting wr. small but has great feet. 109: R4P7 OT OLI UDOH ELON<--potential starting RT. great size at 6 foot 6 327 and 36 inch arms. might be a lil project as he is small school but he impressed at shrine game. 180: R6P5 TE DONALD PARHAM STETSON<--a 6 foot 8 243 pound jumbo slot wr. has huge arms at 36 1/8 and 10 1/2 inch hands. i think we could use that size in the redzone and let him use his former basketball background(HS BB guy). 238: R7P22 RB TONY POLLARD MEMPHIS<--dangerous returner who is an offensive weapon. hes played both wr and rb and i feel with his medicore hands and eh route running he would make more of an impact as a rb/3rd down back kinda role. I think if they're drafting him there, it's projecting him more as a RT. But even then...eeesh. There's stuff to like there, but not at 7. I could certainly see it being within the realm of possibility that they go OLine at 7 (especially if they're going the FA Vet sort of route at QB), and wouldn't even be mad at all. Whether it's a rookie or vet QB under center, gonna need to shore up that OLine either way...and short of getting heathy, the biggest position to do that would be at Tackle, either RT or a LT worth kicking Cam Robinson to RT for. Frankly though...i don't think Ford is even really the type of OLineman Coughlin, Dave, Marrone would likely target that high. A big guy with that "SEC resume" like Jonah Williams or Greg Little seem like they'd fit the bill more for a top pick lineman for this Jaguars brass than a Big10 Spread guy. At least, in my guesstimation. Yeah. @LinderFournette's mocks often tend to feel pretty darn "optimistic" in who falls to where. But like he said, not his board...just gaming the game i guess. Gets some interesting names involved that otherwise might kinda be glossed over for the Jaguars. Like Hockenson who seems pretty likely to be gone somewhere between the Jags 1st and 2nd picks...barring trade situations. fords projects as an elite G and a potential good RT. we have neither of those on our roster. heres an article of what Marrone likes in an OL. keep in mind we did draft richardson. https://www.bigcatcountry.com/2018/4/15/17239198/doug-marrone-and-having-a-type we have to see on the arm length but based on the size aspect he certainly fits the bill at 6 foot 4

Risner has given up 1 sack his entire college career. Lindstorm is a mauling rg we need. Both are upgrades from cann and parnell. Murray is lamar but a much better passer. Also depending how fa/cuts we make we very well could be starting a rookie and essentially a rookie(richardson)

Assuming Parnell is gone and Cann walks...we don't have a real starting RT or RG for next year, and probably can't afford to spend a ton in FA. Two quality Top-60 pick caliber "rookies" would probably be as good as it gets. Plus, Kyler is gonna run around all over the place anyway, no matter what OLine you put in front of him. Yeah. Richardson isn't a true "rookie", but if he's our starter at RT...it may as well be a rookie for the total lack of experience or proven pedigree he has. I'd certainly feel more confident with a guy from that high-2nd round sort of range starting at RT over Richardson. Like Risner. Or McGary out of Washinton is another guy i really like in that spot. Probably some other options too, depending how the board falls.
