patriotsheatyan
These teams combine their two listed Super Bowl losers rosters and staffs with their two Super Bowl winners rosters and staffs. Who would win on neutral field with two weeks to prepare?
jrry32
That's actually a much better question than my snap judgment thought it would be. Originally, I thought, "Definitely the Seahawks." But after looking over the 05 Seahawks, the only things the 13 Seahawks really gain from that squad are the awesome OL and Lofa Tatupu. Yes, I realize the awesome OL is a big deal. But let's look at the starters for the respective squads: Seahawks QB: Russell Wilson HB: Marshawn Lynch or Shaun Alexander WR: Doug Baldin WR: Golden Tate WR: Darrell Jackson TE: Zach Miller LT: Walter Jones LG: Steve Hutchinson C: Max Unger RG: J.R. Sweezy or James Carpenter RT: Russell Okung SDE: Michael Bennett (even if he wasn't technically the starter) NT: Brandon Mebane DT: Rocky Bernard WDE: Cliff Avril (again, not technically the starter) WLB: Lofa Tatupu MLB: Bobby Wagner SLB: K.J. Wright CB: Richard Sherman CB: Marcus Trufant CB: Brandon Browner FS: Earl Thomas SS: Kam Chancellor K: Stephen Hauschka P: Jon Ryan Rams QB: Kurt Warner HB: Marshall Faulk or Todd Gurley WR: Isaac Bruce WR: Brandin Cooks WR: Robert Woods WR: Cooper Kupp or Torry Holt TE: Tyler Higbee LT: Orlando Pace LG: Rodger Saffold C: Jon Sullivan RG: Adam Timmerman RT: Andrew Whitworth DE: Kevin Carter NT: Ndamukong Suh DE: Aaron Donald OLB: Grant Wistrom ILB: London Fletcher ILB: Cory Littleton OLB: Dante Fowler Jr. CB: Todd Lyght CB: Aqib Talib CB: Marcus Peters FS: LaMarcus Joyner SS: John Johnson III K: Greg Zuerlein P: Johnny Hekker This is actually an interesting one. One thing that seems significant to me is that McVay's system is quite effective against Pete Carroll's defense. However, McVay also never had to play the LOB as HC. It's a closer call than I originally thought.

TecmoSuperJoe
I think I would just take the 1999 Rams against the 2005/2013 Seahawks combined squad.
