You definitely can't argue that he has any value in this deal. He's nothing more than a throw-in at that point. I believe he has some value still. He has been bad at times, but he has put together some really impressive games as well. Thats the whole reason Denver is still reluctant on trading up for a QB or not. Reports are they are afraid he has breakout potential this year and they dont want to have him go to another team and breakout there. His value isnt super high, but if Sam Darnold who for the last 2 years might have been the only starting QB in the NFL worse than Lock can fetch a 2nd rounder + some--I believe Lock probably holds a 3rd or 4th round value to a team looking to 'groom' him for another year. A perfect place like Atlanta behind Matt Ryan. Atlanta gets: #9 overall, 2022 1st, 2021 3rd and Drew Lock Denver gets: #4 overall, 2021 6th Edited April 9, 2021 by AkronsWitness

When you talk about pivotal picks, we talk about how it affects the rest of the draft dominoes. That's precisely what the 4th pick is in this year's draft. Didn't say any other picks weren't pivotal... I specifically want to know about this one, because they're probably the 1st up of the 'QB needy teams' identified Edited April 10, 2021 by Hunter2_1
BigTrav
Got them coming down hard for a QB. Especially if SF pick Jones. ALERT!
