As long as they hire an experienced batting coach and pitching coach then a manager with no experience should be fine.

Idt baseball managers are as important as football head coaches, but I do think experience helps and good managers can make teams better. With so many analytics it’s important for a manger to understand them. Who knows to what degree Boone and Cone do especially if they haven’t worked with some before.
