I'm not a fan of our current starting ILBs. I'm still holding hope for ole Buddy Johnson. Here are some guys I'd like the Steelers to take a hard look at for the draft:

Brandon Smith-powerful. Super fast (4.38). Ran down Ohio State WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Plays downhill. Very aggressive taking on blocks. Plays Slot. Perfect fit for team.

Quay Walker-fast flowing aggressive downhill ILB. Big and takes on blocks well. He was used as a sledgehammer to disrupt opposing OL. Good blitzer. Moves well in space.

Channing Tindall-Excellent blitzer. Takes good angles taking on bigger OL. Moves well in space. Very explosive. Sideline to sideline player. Split time with Quay & Dean.

Damone Clarke-fast flowing ILB. Plays sideline to sideline. Solid in pass pro. Attacks downhill. I question his toughness and his ability to take on and get off blocks.

Zakoby McLain-very physical fast flowing LB. Plays nasty. Big hitter. Plays on Slots and moves well in space. Can he play inside and get off blocks well?

Ellis Brooks-Very physical fast flowing ILB. Takes on blocks well. Diagnoses and goes downhill at 100 mph. MF' stud.

Mike Rose-big fast flowing LB. Can he play inside? Is he physical enough getting off blocks? He plays really good in space covering Slots and TEs. He's about 6'4 250.

Jack Campbell-big ILB who flows well. Takes great angles to ball and is a great run stuffer. Similar to Bernardrick McKinney. Excellent fit for the Steelers.

Darien Butler-Heat seeking missile. Fast. Sideline to sideline. Blitzer. Covers well. Ability to shed blocks is my only question.

Feel free to share your thoughts on these players and guys that you're interested in.

Terrel Bernard-this guy will be a star. Fast. Physical. Blitzer. Cover guy. Takes on blocks. I just wish he weighed about 235. He's listed at 225.

Darrian Beavers-big flowing LB who plays ala Dante Hightower. I think he'd be an excellent fit with the Steelers.

Merlin Robertson-big physical LB who plays a lil too upright. Can he play in the middle? I need more info.

Tyshon Fogg-fast flowing LB who can sideline to sideline. I need more info on him.

Chance Campbell-fast flowing LB who comes downhill at 100 mph. I love how he plays the game.

Justyn Rice-fast flowing LB who can play sideline to sideline but I'm concerned about him holding up between the tackles.

Bernard is very impressive in coverage and all around really. If we can stick Marcus Allen out there, no problem putting somebody that can actually play the position and actually drop into coverage.
