He just won you a superbowl. I expect we all realize how homerish you guys will be for stafford.

12 months ago no one in their right mind would have taken Stafford over Dak. Team accomplishments put blinders on people.

I'm the anti QB wins guy.

Has nothing to do with the team accomplishments - has to do with the fact that Stafford was a better QB than Dak this year.

Stafford is a unique case because the team put around a QB clearly matters - so how to judge his Detroit days becomes difficult. He and Dak were similar in the regular season, Stafford slightly better (ANY/A), in his first year with McVay. Then in the playoffs he promptly played well against the Cardinals and Niners - two teams Dak struggled more against.

For the purpose of this thread, feels like a safe bet that Stafford will be better in year 2 with McVay and if that's the case, he's a better QB than Dak.

12 months ago most Football fan knew Matthew Stafford was a much better QB talent than Dak Prescott and went #1 overall due to generational arm talents.

Matthew Stafford managed to take the atrocious Lions Franchise to the playoffs 3x a Detroit Franchise who hasn't won a playoff game since dating back to 1991 of 31 years ago. 0-3 or not he still led the Detroit Lions to 3 playoff appearances.

Dak Prescott?

1-3 in the playoffs despite being silver spooned with the best offense $$$$ can buy.

Put Matthew Stafford on the Cowboys dating back to 2016 and he would've easily led you to the SB by now and no chance he would've lost to San Francisco with all of Big D's weapons (Dak Prescott wet the bed vs 49ers).

The very 1st year Matthew Stafford escaped an awful Detroit situation? The Lions go 3-13-1 and Matthew Stafford wins himself a SB.

No body wants Dak Prescott. Can't you tell? He's got 0 votes (combined) despite 127 voted (0 for Dak) and going on poll #6 here shortly.

127 votes = Field.

0 votes = Dak.

Most of us realize just how overrated Dak Prescott has always truly been.

Or he is just in a better situation.

Prior to this season how many people would have said that the Rams WRs, OL or RBs were better than the Cowboys?

Better defense and coach, absolutely.

WRs sure look better now - but curiously, nobody was putting Kupp over Lamb or Cooper before Stafford got to LA.

We are probably still 12-5 with Dak - but Stafford was the best 4th quarter QB in the entire league, and we needed that to win our last three playoff games.

To be fair, people overrate the ever living poop out of my Cowboys. Our OL hasnt been consistently great since 2016, literally 5 seasons ago, and people still talk about them as if they are a top unit.

Our WRs have been top 5 (#1 most years) in drops virtually every year the past 4. Yet they are still talked about as the best in the NFL.

Zeke is terrible and we literally have a guy arguing on this website that he is better than Henery and HOF bound.

Its pretty unreal. I blame it on exposure. People see that we keep having the best offense in the league and just assume everyone is playing like an all pro. The reality is, weve only had 1 consistent all pro player the past 5 years. And he is a guard.
