With preseason coming to a close, rosters getting sorted, and players getting cut... Is there a position you think needs addressing? Are there any players you feel the Lions should go after? Or do you ride with what we have? #1 Priority - LB: Alex Anzalone is one starter and is solid but not scaring anyone. Malcom Rodriguez seems to be playing his way into a starting role but is a rookie (rookie-wall could really affect him) and is under-sized. Derrick Barnes and Chris Board seem to be decent role-players at this point but haven't shown much more than that. We could really an upgrade here, preferably someone else who can provide solid RB/TE coverage #2 Priority - DT: We need an insurance policy for Levi Onwuzurike and somoeone capable of reliably handling snaps that would have gone to John Penisini. Demetrius Taylor had probably earned a roster spot but may not be ready for a big role. Recently released DT Malcom Brown seems like a good fit. #3 Priority - Back-Up QB: Tim Boyle and David Blough are OK but it would be nice to see a younger more developmental QB added to the roster.
