He's a good backup RB and strong in blitz pickup (where Mixon is bad). My preference was to re-sign Perine and cut Mixon, replacing Joe with a rookie. But losing Perine probably doesn't make Mixon safer. The team re-signed backup Trayveon Williams yesterday and will find a replacement for Perine and likely Mixon.
