Yea, No matter what we do, after the 2024 year we will be set back another five years. People can say what they want about Rex Ryan, but with Ryan his Jet teams had pride, and he had winning teams, we almost made it to the SB. My big mistake was being so down on Friz, look at the garbage we have had at QB for the last five years. How can all these scouts, and GM be so wrong about Zach Wilson, anybody can see he has no touch on his passes can't even complete a short check down pass, sure he has a strong arm what good it if he can't complete a mid-range pass. Next year will be a lame duck year for everyone during the Rodgers farewell tour and a complete house cleaning at the end of 2024. this is true. at least we have a foundation of players to either keep or get assets back for. the foundation is far from a mess like when douglas took over, but until we find a real HC it doesn't matter what QB we have or anything we do. Another issue we will always have is that woody will quickly reset and then get impatient and try to come up with a quick fix, it will fail like always and we will repeat this same process. trading for rodgers and thinking we were just a QB away was a complete misjudgment of this team. unless we have some miraculous offseason or mortgage more the future to go all in...we are 8-9 next year with this group. When has he done this? John Idzik? Adam Gase? I don’t understand this idea that Woody is impatient with his hires I can get behind Woody was pushing for the ARod signing, but he never fires staff too early.
