notthatbluestuff
I think it's somewhat fair to say that Bill Belichick's best years are behind him. Looking back at the GOAT's accomplishments, which single season is the most fitting testament to his coaching prowess? Was it 2001 when the Pats rebounded from a nightmare start losing their franchise QB to starting a sixth-rounder (who was nowhere near what he'd eventually become) and went to the Super Bowl where they took down the much-favored Greatest Show on Turf Rams?

Soggust
But seriously I'd say maybe 04? Repeating a SB is hard, he had been studied and going 14-2 and winning back-to-back seems solid on the surface. I know some will point to 08 where he won 11 games with Matt Cassell and I think that's not a bad take, if it wasn't being compared to SB wins lol.
