Making models like that with the lights behind them and shadows, with all the CGI used now a days that type of visual will really never be attempted again, but they did it in Blade Runner and even if it was a few second clip, it looked amazing! Sure they attempted with the Blade Runner 2049 but did not pull it off at all and that movie does not even come close to the look of the original.
nagahide13
I love Scarface but Steve Bauer's acting is abysmal in it. The character is necessary to show the depth of Tony's fall, but my god is the performance hamfisted. I think that the "problems" with a lot of classic films are unavoidable. They introduce something new to a generation that hasn't seen anything like it before and it becomes beloved. Future media uses those ideas until they become ingrained in us, and the original IP eventually begins to seem derivative of itself. Or, later generations become more familiar with genuine representations of those ideas and the original IP is shown to pale in comparison or to outright misrepresent reality. That's my theory anyway. It's why my parent's generation loves Easy Rider while many of us in later generations do not.
