We have seen many, many QBs over the years perform poorly as a rookie just to then have a spectacular second season. Donovan McNabb being a solid example. Except none of them were 2nd round picks. Sure, guys like Goff can suddenly emerge in year 2, but they had talent far superior to anything Kizer had and that is why they had a breakout year.
