Deadpulse
Not surprised by Brown or Dorsett. Shelton is less surprising and more disappointing. Hopefully they plan on extending him, otherwise the compensation bringing him here will be less than ideal.
mission27
Dorsett thing is kind of surprising, tbh we probably should've just hung onto JB

Although that's not quite fair to Brissett tbh. I think he could develop into a solid starter.
TomRalph
Seemingly giving up on a 3rd Round Pick after a matter of weeks. They better be working on an extension for Shelton soon or it will just be another wasted draft pick. Totally unsurprising with Brown and Dorrsett though. Elky
Declining the 5th year option doesn't necessarily mean they're giving up on a player. $7m is too much for a guy who only excels at stopping the run and is part of a rotation. Either him or Brown could be extended at a cheaper rate. Personally, I don't think Belichick values draft picks that much.
Soko
Not overly surprised with Brown. I wouldn’t be shocked if he got traded. Wouldve been a lot of cheese for a pure NT. Poe only signed an $8m dollar deal and Hankins hasn’t even been signed IIRC. Not a lot of demand for these guys. Dorsett - good riddance. Not loving how the Pats handle QB trades lately.
