Movies you wish you could have seen in theaters when they were first released

I'm just a little older but I wanted to see Jaws when it was in theaters but it was Rated R and had nudity in the opening scene so my folks axed that. Saw Star Wars when it came out but at a lousy drive in.

For $10,000 - I'll give you a serious concussion. That way, you'll forget a lot of things. Probably that movie, it'll be like watching it brand new. (You might not remember that you offered $10k, so I'll need payment in advance).

I can't imagine the kind of spectacle that seeing Gone with the Wind on the big screen was at the time of its release.  In terms of scale and storytelling it really is a different animal than most of what was released back then.
