I never post links but this was a quality read. 

It's crazy to think we could of ended up with brees had it not been for Jack Elways passing.

I find it interesting that John Lynch admitted he can't scout safeties. A lot of great stuff in here.

I remember that draft, and the Middlebrooks pick. I know that CB was a need that year (along with O-line), but Middlebrooks was a disaster. Brees would have been great.

Thanks for sharing this...one of the things I believe is that one can’t be both a teacher and a student at the same time. A person is either successful at one or the other. GL Elway the GM...fingers crossed.

Well this is true but what I like about elway is he uses resources around him and learns from his mistakes. Heck look at keenum does not have the size or the arm and got two years from elway.36 million.

This is case and point no pun intended of elway admitting Paxton lynch as a failed pick. And also realizing there's other things that go into a quarterback besides tangible qualities.
