Thats excellent news, because i still have seattle hatred due to the fail mary and the great sadness of the nfc championship of 2014

I think most midwest sports fans are OK hating on Seattle. Any sport, really.

If you want to get into MLS, I'd suggest the ExtraTime Radio podcast. They do a good job of highlighting everything across the league. The episode from Feb 7th had the Portland season preview.

I mean each team plays like a game a week.

I thought they would play a few times a week

I would say in a normal season teams will have an average of 6 games per month. Every weekend, and a midweek game about every other week. Maybe a little less with bye weeks and international breaks. Sometimes a bit more of the team has Champions League or Open Cup games.

Soccer is much more similar to the NFL than hockey/basketball in terms of physical toll. They run about 6-7 miles per game after all.

2 yellow cards for portand already!

Smart.

Might as well have everyone get a yellow. Theres no real harm in that

FYI - if a player accumulates 5 yellows through the season, they get a 1 game suspension. After that I think it is a suspension every 3 yellows.
