Iowa had a few other solid TEs that ate up production as well. The coaches voiced some concerns with Kittle but he still has very good ties with them. There concerns were his focus. The talent was always there but Kittle known as a jokester and Iowa's coaches are not. I also read that Kittle embraced the college lifestyle a bit too much and was wasting his potential.
