Maybe, but stopping Old Man Brady. with only JE at wideout, the walking husk of Gronk and a solid stable of RBs is a much easier task than stopping Kelce/Hill/Mahomes with the other guys they have mixed in.

I don't think they would totally shut down McVay/Goff like the Pats did. But it was so obvious how to screw with Goff, gotta think the Chiefs look to do something similar.
Hard to say with how anemic Goff looked how much was the Pats and how much was the stage.

I think any of the 4 AFC divisional teams would've beat the Rams in the SB really.

Laughable. Just laughable.

Chargers/Pats/Chiefs is easy, they were better all around team December and on.

Colts would be a toss up, but a good oline, offsetting balanced attack on O.
Athletes on D, it would be a good match.

It's more on an indictment on how easy it was to have that plan to screw with Goff...and whatever the hell was wrong with Gurley.

But hey maybe if it wasn't BB and Brady McVay would've sacked up finally and gone for it in plus yardage situations like he wanted to win, Goff would've stopped looking into the headlights when his headset died...and maybe Gurley gets magically back to being the healthy stud he can be.

The Rams looked unstoppable this year..but that was months ago.
Talking about the Rams that took the field yesterday.

The Rams already beat the Chargers and the Chiefs. Get out of here. The Chiefs are at least arguable. But that's not saying much. The four best teams this year were the Patriots, Rams, Saints, and Chiefs. The Chargers beating the Rams? LOL, you're drunk. The Colts beating the Rams? You are more than drunk. Bad takes are bad. I don't even know how the Rams made the Super Bowl. Apparently, they couldn't beat anybody who was in the playoffs.

Their best game was against the Cowboys, when they had Gurley. Next two games he was a non-factor and its effects showed.
They played some of the best football the NFL saw this year, but they just weren't playing like that down the stretch.
No Kupp, a hobbled Gurley...it made them super easy to figure out...it happens. They still were a good team, but so were a lot of those teams. And a lot of them were hotter.

But why the heck would you look at a week 3 game on Sept. 23 like it meant anything on Feb 3? The teams were pretty different in personnel and how they were playing.
We saw how Goff reacted to pressure, look what the Chargers front was doing the back half of the year with Bosa back. The versatile secondary would've been able to do what the Pats did once they came together too.

It's a game, not a culmination of resumes jrry

Do they have a good shot to beat the colts? yeah, I probably would even put money on it. But I said it to prove a point that they had a lot going against them Sunday.

Not really when you consider that Mahomes is on a GOAT trajectory and that his legacy stands to benefit from not adding an early loss to his super bowl W/L record.

That's convoluted logic.

Yet, they beat the Saints in New Orleans. I guess the Saints just suck. Apparently, both the Saints and Rams are worse than every AFC team that made it out of the first round. And the Eagles must be too, because they lost to the Saints. I don't care which teams were "hotter." The Eagles, Bears, and Cowboys were three of the hottest teams in the league. Yet, the Rams and Saints took them out.

Chiefs have two 2nd round picks this year from trading the head case Peters. We're going to load up on defense and be an average defense next year and get our first super bowl win and start the Mahomes reign of terror. I'll take that over the embarrassing superbowl loss that the LA rams just got handed to them.

The Rams still made it. Maybe you should wait to chirp so much until Mahomes either beats the Rams or makes the Super Bowl. He hasn't done either one.

Yeah the Vikings also beat the Saints on some bull**** last year then got exposed in the playoffs in the next round. Didn't even make the playoffs this season.

The Rams separate from Bill Vinovich have done nothing to show us that they belong amongst the NFL elite.

Cool. Well, feel free to do your talking at the end of next year. Until then, the Rams made the Super Bowl and beat the Chiefs. How could I forget? The Rams also had a better record than the Chiefs. But hey, the Chiefs lost in the AFCCG to spare Mahomes a Super Bowl loss. Keep beating your chest over that. xD

Oh I will. I'll take Mahomes going god mode in the 4th scoring 21 points in 3 minutes and almost unseating Thomas Edward Patrick Brady as a consolation prize over the Rams led by LA's own Bill Vinovich and Goff stinking up the superbowl so bad that I fell asleep shortly after half time.

Yeah, you take that L. Almost doesn't count for anything. The Rams came up short in the Super Bowl, but we still made it. That's more than you can say. Of course, we also had the NFL's best record (tied with the Saints) and beat the Chiefs. But hey, maybe next year you can actually surpass us, so you can back up all the talking you've done.
