Red Sox were responsible for knowing that he was doing this, even if he was acting rogue. They found no evidence the Red Sox organization had any idea he was doing anything. He'd just notice on video cast that the signs had changed and sometimes he'd tell a player "Hey FB is two fingers now" or whatever and they'd relay that if they ever get on 2B. He never told anyone he was doing this, and they went through thousands of texts and emails. They were incredibly thorough with the investigation, but like I said. Oh he didnt effectively communicate rules, what a bunch of cheaters! The Red Sox had one rogue employee. Not some grand scheme to steal signs. All I said, and maintain, is a Red Sox employee cheated which means the Red Sox cheated. Whether their was a conspiracy to cheat within the team changes the degree not the kind.
