theJ
Still no regression for Marty and Dale.ย It's a pretty sick starting 5. Also, Gatling is probably serviceable enough at this point to get about 10 min/game.ย He's a good rebounder (A-) and low post defender (B-).ย Too bad he's 27 now and probably only has one more year of progression in him. theJ
Gatson and Goodman were both so close to averaging a double-double. Goodman got a new sig, and a really good one (Bruiser).ย That energy draining sig skill absolutely kills the opposing player at that position.ย They're basically dead by the 4th quarter.ย Typically they play 10-20% than normal bc they're resting so much. theJ
As usual, i didn't really scout around the top of the draft again.ย I do have one good target later - Ray Cross.ย C OVR, B+ Pot.ย Plays SF/PF.ย I bet he goes well before my pick, but he's currently projected as a late 1st. Failing that there's a Center with B- potential in the early 2nd. There's also a PG (Bernard Cheaney) with 3 sig skills in the mid-1st.ย C- ovr and C POT, but 3 sig skills probably indicates that scouting report is a little off. theJ
I'm choosing not to extend a qualifying offer to Warren Conley for 3.38M. It's not that he's a bad player (67 OVR) or that he's old (26).ย But he's not gotten any better while he's been on the team, and i want to clear PT for Gatling, Dee Boyd and Alex Peeler. theJ
Heading into the draft now. ย Ah, haha, the Bucks are offering for me to trade to #2.ย They want Vin Hill and Bernard Hughes.ย If i had scouted anyone in the top 5 i might take that laughing to the bank.ย But i'd be firing blind, so i'm declining.
