Having said that just because they overvalued him doesnt mean he is trash like some paint him to be. There seems to be no middle ground with him. But ive seen many Saints fans on twitter and other places hype him up alot. So i get it Definitely that Peat deal was the definition of an overpay and by a lot. But he is able to play both guard and tackle and apparently the team thought that last year's slump was more due to a nagging injury than him being subpar.
