Not guys who were de facto starters at the timing of their signing, i.e. Jacoby Brissett. Not guys who were pushed to the bench as backups because bad teams want to give their young QB a ride. I believe Marcus Mariota is the highest at $8.8M/year and Nick Foles comes in at $8M/year, which would make him second. I'm not including Taysom Hill since he's as much a QB as I am, and Alex Smith would be the starter if he was completely healthy. So...second highest paid backup QB. That's not an award I want to win.
