Hmmm... I don't know about that anymore. He was given the zone press chances in Romeo Crennel's "only man... all the time, man" scheme and wasn't exactly a standout. He had to grab and hold on a lot of routes beyond quick outs/curl routes, couldn't get his hips around fast enough when he had to turn and burn with a WR going 7/8/9, and bit on just about every double move put in front of him (to his credit, he could recover and find the coverage line in these moments - he'd look somewhat competent in these times, didn't take a scenic route when chasing a WR). If he could/would play ST, maybe he could refine his ability and develop in the background... but he doesn't from what I've seen. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
