Draft order for all 7 rounds were released by the NFL today.

Lions official draft picks will be:

#2. Their own 1st rd pick

#32. 1st rd pick from LA Rams (Matthew Stafford trade)

#34. Their own 2nd rd pick

#66. Their own 3rd rd pick

#97. Compensatory 3rd rd pick (Kenny Golladay)

#177. Compensatory 5th rd pick  (Marvin Jones)

#181. Their own 6th rd pick

#217. Compensatory 6th rd pick (Jarrad Davis)

#234. 7th rd pick from Cleveland (David Blough trade)

Couple notes.

1. We will not receive Patriots 7th rd pick from Michael Jackson trade. Conditions were not met.

2. The David Blough trade was to Detroit for the right to swap 7th rd picks in 2022. That is why Cleveland gets #223 and we get #234.

3. The Trinity Benson deal with Denver was for a 2022 5th and a conditional 7th. Conditions were not met for the 7th rd pick. We will receive Denver's 2023 6th rd pick however. So the deal was not Benson for a 5th & 7th but Benson & Denver's 2023 6th for our 2022 5th. Came out a little better for us in the end, even with Benson being a wasted player.

4. Cleveland gets our 4th rd pick for us moving up last draft for Derrick Barnes.

That is a much nicer deal for Benson than initially thought.  And maybe he does something this year with a full camp and ends up being worth the drop from the 5th to the 6th.  If not he likely gets cut before the season and its not a huge loss.

I wouldn't mind moving down and adding some extra picks in the 3/4 range but still a decent amount of picks to continue to build up this roster.

Great breakdown. Very good ammo to work with this year. Really hope we attack defense more than anything.
