I agree with your sentiment.

But I also don't believe we're done looking for upgrades, including WR.

Well yeah, Peters will always be looking for upgrades to the roster, but finding them right now off of preseason cuts doesn't seem too likely IMO.

So I got us going 10-3 up to the bye. All 3 losses to the AFC North.

Pittsburgh was a tough call. I don't think Russell Wilson is any good, anymore.

But we ALWAYS & I mean always struggle against Pittsburgh. They'll probably be starting Justin Fields by then & he did kick our behind last season. So who knows?

For whatever reason, I got us losing the last 3 of 4 games to finish out the year going 11-6.

I also have us winning the Division, btw.

So, I don't want to say it's a down year for the NFC East.

But more so, Washington shockingly playing well & Dallas & Philly coming back down to Earth.

If this were to happen, I could easily see Nick Siriani & Mike McCarthy getting Fired.

The Giants are just not a very good team, but they do historically play us tough, or have our number no matter what. I would think Daboll probably gets fired, too.

Washington could really do some damage, by having a good season. Not just for their own future.

But the future of the other 3 teams in the East.

I have us losing in the NFC Championship game vs Green Bay, btw.

Bengals defeating Packers in the SB.

I have Jayden Daniels winning Offensive Player of the year. (Not offensive rookie of the year) But NFL Offensive Player of the Year.

I have Boe Nix winning Offensive Rookie of the Year.

So there you have it.

I know my optimism is crazy & insane.

But somebody has to swing on the other side of the Pendulum. Might as well be me.

Cheers guys 🥂

Let's kick some *** this year!

Let's go get Tampa!

Something else I'm going to be monitoring, over the course of this 24' season regarding QB Jayden Daniels.

This.......

Lamar Jackson holds the NFL record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season with 1,206 yards in 2019. This broke Michael Vick's previous record of 1,039 yards set in 2006. Jackson's record-breaking season included 176 carries, averaging 6.9 yards per rush and seven touchdowns

So 1,207 yards is the target.

I want him to get it & stay healthy

If he does, & also throws 3000 - 4000 yards passing? 30+ TD's & under 10 int's.

He won't win rookie of the year.

He'll win Offensive Player of the Year.

AS A ROOKIE!

I love the optimism for the C’s, but I see the NFC EAST like this:

Eagles 12-5

Cowboys 11-6

C’s 7-10

Giants 5-12

I don't see any way the Steelers only win 3 games. They made the playoffs last year with Pickett, Trubisky & Mason Rudolph as their QBs. Their team is better than last year's team and while Russell Wilson is past his prime, he's still better than those 3, and so is Justin Fields if he has to play.

I think the Falcons win the NFC South rather easily. 10 or 11 wins while the Saints may make the playoffs I think they'll be the one to win only 7 or 8 games. I think the Bucs will have a similar season to the Saints, both of them around .500 and be within two games above or below it.

15-2 for the Bengals doesn't make much sense in the hardest division in the NFL. They all beat up on each other.

There’s no way the Broncos win 13 games, I mean absolutely zero! The Chiefs may win that many, the Broncos win around .500 plus or minus a game or two.

1. Bengals 12-5
2. Ravens 11-6
3. Steelers 10-7
4. Browns 9-8

That is not the target. Under 750 yards is the target. It won't happen, but I'd rather see Jayden break the passing record for a rookie QB than the rushing record bc if he's rushing that much it means he's taking too many hits.

I'd rather see Jay break the rookie passing record held by Andrew Luck of 4,374 yards or, the most passing TDs rookie record of 31 by Justin Herbert.

I remember when I first saw Sean Taylor in the HOF game as a rookie. I knew right away, that he was a special player. That he was a generational talent. A talent that you don't see about every 20 years or so. (Ironically, it was 20 years ago when we drafted Sean Taylor)

Anyways, we've never had or drafted such a player since then. We drafted some good players, don't get me wrong. We've signed some great players as well. But not that good.

Sometimes, when you see a player? You just know they're destined for greatness. That they exceed any expectations, you otherwise would have for any player.

I see that with Jayden Daniels!

So when I say we're going 11-6.....?

I'm actually underselling, what I believe he will do for this franchise.

Lamar Jackson is special.

Michael Vick was special.

Kyler Murray is special.

All 3 are special dual threat QB's, that almost have everything you want in a QB.

I think Caleb Williams, will be a special QB, too. Great pick by Chicago!

But there's 1 thing none of the above have, that Jayden Daniels has.

The quick mental processing that your greatest QB's of all-time have.

I'm talking Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, John Elway & Steve Young.

Their leadership, the desire to be great, their humility, hate losing, their love of the game?

Those are the things that can't be taught. You either have it, or you don't.

And that is what separates the very good- to- great QB's.

From the very best!!

And I personally believe? That #5 Jayden Daniels, is in that class.

A class of the very few.

So congratulations my fellow Redskins/Commanders fans.

We waited a long, long time for a franchise QB.

And I believe we found him.

Stay safe young man! Let's go win some Superbowls #5!
