He wasn’t really a receiving back for the Patriots though, at least not in 2016 or 2017. James White was the third down back and the guy played if a catch was needed. Lewis only had 35 targets in 16 games last year, and 20% of that came in the final game of the year, when White didn’t play. They threw to Lewis occasionally, but that wasn’t his primary role. SteelKing728 Posted March 14, 2018 Share Posted March 14, 2018 I've always been a fan of Dion Lewis, so I'm glad he was able to cash in again. Even though I could see the Titans missing the playoffs this year, depending on how Free Agency and the draft go, I think he's in a great situation in Tennessee.
