Sheldon Day is probably also very close to a lock at this point, but its closer to 98% than 100% as with the other two. So which of these guys end up making the roster? corry Posted August 5, 2017 Share Posted August 5, 2017 I assume they'll have a back up NT on the roster. So that means Charles is going to make it. Day also makes it. Bennett comes down to roster math. Would you rather have a ninth D-linemen or a sixth WR? I would put Bennett, Greene, Sterling, and Henne/Allen all in the same boat fighting for 3 spots. Jags Posted August 6, 2017 Share Posted August 6, 2017 Day has shown highs and lows. He missed a tackling dummy, but also blew up LF behind the LOS during practice. Seems like he'll be a good rotational player. I'd also like to see Bennett make it, but we def need a backup NT and so that means Charles is making the team.
